room completely unassisted and didn't feel a thing the

it without any ill after effects. You are all awesome!

Before
I joined IM=X Pilates Blue Bell, I had severe lower back
pain every morning that made it incredibly difficult to
get out of bed. I was away for the last two weeks, and
the pain returned- it was just horrible. It would take
at least 10-15 minutes each morning to go away enough
for me to get up and moving. Today is Friday, and is my
third pilates class for the week. Each morning I’ve
felt progressively better until this morning, when I woke
up and said, “Wow!” because I could get right

Hard work and persistence really do pay off.
I have been doing pilates for a long time. I recently
kicked it up a notch, and started going 3-4x/wk.
I was at a family function. I hadn’t seen my brother-in-law
in over 3 months. He commented on how good I looked, toned,
and his best comment was, “You look pretty damn
good for a 48-year-old! Look at your legs, how defined
they are. Keep up what you’re doing, ‘cause
it’s working!”

I’m noticing my new pilates
strength in all sorts of places. At my last pedicure,
I realized I had held my leg out by myself the whole time,
instead of propping it up. And then I was lying down,
and suddenly noticed that I’m more ‘perky’
than I used to be!
